At last apicture uploaded!
I have been very lucky and have a new little furry creature come to live on the patio. He is a Blue Rex, only eight weeks old and is really friendly and as you can see has settled in well to eating my plants already.

I went down to Brighton last Thursday to pick him up and was ever so excited about it. I was thinking I should decide on a name for him before introducing him to you all. However we have failed to decide and just was to excited to wait any longer.

It might be Captin Rupert, after a ryan air pilot or Ernest after the country mouse that shared Dylans food (which I spelt wrong before but hopefully have got right now).

I keep trying to up load image and its not working, will try soon, he looks really adorable in the pic I'm trying to load!

I'm trying to work out how to plant the herbs in my herb garden. I want to put the catnip somewhere well away from the cat, I'm sure she can smell it!

(I have made the colours a horid colour so the pencil lines will show up)

Another trip back home to Suffolk at the weekend. I think Jessie was sad not to see Dylan. We took K's boat with us this time. My brother crewed for him and they won a race, which was very exciting. I had a lovely swim in the river. I can't believe how warm the water is. The avocet got painted sitting in the shade by the river, watching K and the other boats sail past. I have to confess I did not actually see any avocets, I know though they are hiding out on the salt marsh.

I think these dogs are having a lovely cool time on the river.

I have been a little distracted about finishing the dogs they are really ever so nearly there. K was sailing at the weekend and we camped out on the salt marsh Saturday night. I love salt marsh, its some how really peace full and smells all salty and seaweedy. Unfortunately my camera is not working at the mo, so no piccies. I have though been inspired to paint some more wader pictures. Maybe its the one that woke us up at fine in the morning with its rather screechy dawn chorus.

Went for the picnic basket and not a spread of yummy food.

I have been trying to decide what these two dogs are going to eat for there tea on the river. I have been thinking about tea on the river for some time. It was really difficult to play around with the angle of the boat to fit the animals in and for there to be room for a picnic spread. I would love one of those nice wicker picnic baskets in it too but that just might be putting too much in.

Thankyou ever so much for all your kind words and pg for putting a picture of Dylan on your blog. Its been so lovely to hear Dylan will be missed by you all. I was very sad about Dylan it was all such a shock and K being away did not help. When K came home on Saturday afternoon we went to the woods at the bottom of the garden with Dylan for the funeral. There was only one slight problem I under estimated how hard it would be digging the hole with all the tree roots. I'm sure Dylan will be happy down there with all the wild bunnies.

Its a very sad day Dylan has died. I opened up his hutch this morning and I could just see he was not well at all. His stomach was really bloated and he was sitting down stairs in his toilet patch. I have nursed rabbits with bloat back to health before but he seemed quite bad and K is away. So I took him to the vet who kept him in as his temperature had dropped so much. They have know rang me with not such good news. I'm going to pick him up and burry him out with the wild bunnies.

All this hot weather has inspired me to paint another Aga picture!

Mums garden has grown a little since I last saw it a few weeks ago.

Dylan had another one of those super lovely weekends in a whole garden

playing kiss chase with Jessie. They are now getting on a little better and even decided to share some dinner together.
